Suan Mokkaparam is located in Moo 6, Lamet , Chaiya district. This temple is located at the abandoned temple, name of "Wat Trapang Chik" in Phumriang, Chaiya district which the forest is cluttered far away. Later, there was a novice monk who had requested to stay and practice at Suan Mokkh until the year 2485, he moved to set up at new SuanMokkaparam temple at the foot of the hill called "Pud Thong" in Lamet , Chaiya district. Villagers called this new temple by the name of the mountain. "Wat Phra Buddhadong", but the Buddhist monk was registered as a temple “Wat Tannamlai" or the present Suan Mokkaplaam.
