Wat Khao Suwan Pradit is located around one kilometer from the town of Don Sak on the Surat thani – Nakhon Si Thammarat route (Highway 401). PhraKhru Suwanpraditkan or Luangpho Choi, a famous Budddhist monk master of the south, pioneered the construction of the temple. He died in 1993 and his body has been kept in a glass coffin in the ordination hall.
